Children in Between(Formerly Children In The Middle)

Developed in the early 1990’s the Children in Between program (formerly Children in the Middle ) was designed through research that examined effective methods for reducing stress and conflict during divorce. CDE's Children in Between has the distinction of being the only divorce education program that is included on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Registry for Evidence Based Programs and Practices (NREPP) .

Children in Between is endorsed nationally by Judges, Lawyers, Mediators, Psychologists, Teachers and Parents.

This is a 3 1/2 hour class REQUIRED for both parties in a dissolution or modification proceeding, and it is open to all adults concerned with children of divorce. The class provides education and affirmation for parents. The primary focus is on children's in the divorce and removing them from the middle.. Change in family structure through dissolution of marriage, custody modifications, remarriage, etc. are difficult experiences for a child. This program is conducted by our trained licensed professional therapists.

Skills to remove the children out of the middle in the divorce process

ATTENDENCE IS REQUIRED FOR BOTH PARTIES IN DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE AND CUSTODY MODIFICATION.

Child care is not provided. Please do not bring your children to the program.

The sessions begin on time. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Credit will not be given for late arrivals.

Please preregister by sending a check or money order in the mail, at the office with cash, check, debit or credit card, or over the phone with a debit or credit card.

IF THERE ARE LESS THAN 3 PARTICIPANTS THE CLASS MAY BE CANCELLED AND PARTICIPANTS WILL BE CALLED THE NIGHT BEFORE THE CLASS.
